# Lampiran D: Kategorisasi kekayaan spesies

Banyak wilayah dengan keanekaragaman hayati paling tinggi di planet ini memiliki data yang tidak lengkap, atau tidak akurat. Berikut adalah contoh tabel untuk menunjukkan kekayaan spesies, dan risiko keanekaragaman hayati untuk contoh BCP di Amazon Putumayan. Tabel ini tidak lengkap. Walau tabelnya sederhana, datanya sendiri, dan sumber datanya, masih kurang berkembang.

Perlu dicatat, dokter pengobatan tradisional “taitas” di wilayah ini menjelaskan formularium tanaman obat yang mencakup hampir 3.000 tumbuhan berpembuluh, hampir dua kali lipat dari tumbuhan berpembuluh yang sudah dideskripsikan oleh ilmu pengetahuan Barat untuk wilayah ini.
