본 방법론은 일반 대중이 이해할 수 있도록 작성되었으며, VBC를 이행하고자 하는 사업에 대한 틀을 제공하기 위한 것입니다. 이는 생물다양성 방법론의 이행 방식에 대한 사업 수준의 지침과 사례를 제공합니다. 또한 다음 요소를 도입하거나 이에 준수함으로써 생물다양성의 글로벌 보전을 위한 메커니즘을 보완하는 것을 목적으로 합니다:

* 생태계 특성화를 위한 공공의 검증 가능한 데이터에 대한 의존([기준선 평가](/methodology/savimbo-indicator-species-biodiversity-method-ko/baseline-assessment.md)).  
* 사업에서 요구되는 1차 자료에 대한 의도적 단순화([사업 설명](/methodology/savimbo-indicator-species-biodiversity-method-ko/project-description.md))을 원주민(IP) 및 지역 공동체(LC) 포함을 위해.
* 상호운용 가능한 [단위](/methodology/savimbo-indicator-species-biodiversity-method-ko/calculation/unit-calculations.md) 생물다양성 크레딧 발급 체계로서 다른 사업들과의 정합성이 우수한. 
* 자동화된 [계산](/methodology/savimbo-indicator-species-biodiversity-method-ko/calculation.md) 오픈소스 소프트웨어를 활용한 ISBM VBC의  
* 크레딧은 인증 및 상품 판매에 사용될 수 있으며, 또는 성과기반 재원을 위한 MRV로만 사용될 수도 있습니다.
