# 指示物种观测
用于信用核发的指示物种项目生成的数据
指示物种观测需要原始数据（音频记录、视频或照片）、日期时间戳以及以十进制度表示的地理编码。
对于稀有、受威胁、被非法交易或濒危的指示物种，鼓励项目通过诸如 [iNaturalist ](https://www.inaturalist.org/signup?return_to=https://www.inaturalist.org/aboput)或 [Earthranger](https://www.earthranger.com/)等免费平台，对公开PMP中的地理编码进行遮蔽，并由核证机构安排私密审查。

应当指出，对于大多数原住民和当地社区项目而言，用于野生动物相机的卫星遥测等自动化数据成本过高。因此，绝大多数项目将需要可信的人类编码员为观测补充地理编码和日期时间戳元数据。不过，这在实质上并不区别于碳研究中对碳载量量化的要求，并可通过对项目数据的独立IEP分析以及IEP现场访问加以控制。
